Job Summary:
As a Marketing Assistant – Entry Level at Amplified Connections, you will play an important role in supporting marketing campaigns and community outreach initiatives that drive awareness for nonprofits. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you will assist in event marketing, client engagement, and the development of promotional materials. You’ll work closely with a dynamic team to help raise funds and advocate for nonprofit missions, while gaining valuable experience in marketing and public relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Campaign Support: Assist in the development, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns to raise awareness for nonprofit causes and events.
• Event Promotion: Help promote and organize community and retail-based events, ensuring all marketing materials are prepared and distributed.
• Client Engagement: Engage with clients, partners, and event attendees through phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring a positive experience.
• Brand Messaging: Ensure marketing messages are consistent with the organization’s mission and goals, promoting charitable initiatives.
• Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from event attendees and campaign participants to assess effectiveness and improve future campaigns.
• Data Tracking: Track campaign performance and donations, reporting on the success of marketing strategies and suggesting improvements.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas, coordinate tasks, and meet marketing goals.
• Training & Development: Participate in training sessions to stay updated on marketing trends and strategies.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is a plus.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a creative mindset for marketing and public relations.
• Personality: Outgoing, positive, and passionate about contributing to nonprofit causes.
• Experience: Previous experience in marketing, social media management, or event coordination is a plus, but not required.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) is preferred.
• Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Creativity: Ability to think creatively and develop marketing materials that effectively communicate the organization’s mission.
• Commitment: A passion for marketing and helping to promote social causes.
